Students Explore Music Technology
What: Visit of John Lennon Educational Tour Bus to School of Digital
Media and Design at Kearny High School
When: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, March 30
Where: School of Digital Media and Design, Kearny High Educational
Complex, 7651 Wellington St. (92111)
Background: The touring music and video technology showcase visits
the Kearny complex for a day, giving students the chance to tour and
perform on state-of-the-art equipment.
In addition to being introduced to all of the elements in a
state-of-the-art facility, students learn how to write, produce, and
record original songs; participate in performing them; and create music
videos using traditional musical instruments as well as current
technological advances. Visitors create entire music video projects in
less than a day and leave with DVDs of their work.
