Hundreds of Students Proudly Celebrate Art & Diversity at San Diego Unified's Art Exhibit 2017
San Diego Unified continues Arts Education month with art showcases that encourage students to create, innovate, and inspire others to embrace diversity and dream big.
WHAT: The San Diego Unified School District invites the community to experience its annual Student Art Exhibit. Over the next three weeks, San Diego Unified will present a diverse array of 590 artwork pieces by students in grades K-12. Students from 15 high schools and nine middle schools will showcase their work throughout the district.
Superintendent Cindy Marten is proud of the district's continued commitment to provide a well-rounded education that includes visual and graphic arts curriculum. Superintendent Marten will kick off the gallery opening with a greeting welcoming everyone to the exhibit's Open House.
WHEN: Wednesday, March 15, 2017 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
WHERE: Eugene Brucker Education Center 4100 Normal St. 92103
DETAILS: The exhibition will be on display throughout the entire month of March at the Eugene Brucker Education Center. Admission is free and open to the public.
