WHY: Superintendent Fabi Bagula, Ph.D. joined by parents and advocates, students and Board of Education members, will outline her vision for the future of Special Education at San Diego Unified School District; outline systemic challenges that have plagued Special Education and affected outcomes of students for decades along with plans to fix them; and share how together with advocates the district will fight at the local, state and federal levels to get the funding it deserves.
