I am delighted to welcome Hayden Gore to the School Board and to congratulate Trustee Shana Hazan on her reelection. Both share San Diego Unified’s commitment to putting students first, and both will play a vital role in advancing our four core goals: student wellness, literacy, math, and college and career readiness.
Throughout her time on the board, Shana has been a tireless advocate for helping every child reach their full potential. Hayden, a classroom teacher, brings firsthand insight into what teachers and students need to succeed, and that perspective will strengthen the board’s work.
Together, we will meet the challenges ahead and keep making San Diego Unified the school district of choice for families across our city.
