NEWS RELEASE -- Emergency Parcel Tax Stays on November Ballot

NEWS RELEASE from the San Diego Unified School District, July 27, 2010

EMERGENCY PARCEL TAX STAYS ON NOVEMBER BALLOT

SAN DIEGO -- After discussing the matter during a special meeting this
afternoon, the Board of Education took no action on the Emergency Parcel
Tax, meaning the measure will be on the ballot in November.

Board President Richard Barrera had scheduled the meeting to allow the Board
of Education to reconsider the matter, which was approved July 13.
