NEWS RELEASE from the San Diego Unified School District, Sept. 9, 2011
CLASSES RESUME MONDAY IN SAN DIEGO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
SAN DIEGO -- Classes will resume their normal schedule Monday, Sept. 12, in the San Diego Unified School District. Child Development Centers and the PrimeTime day-care program will also be observing normal hours.
Operations staff has been checking schools on Friday, Sept. 9, and found
no significant issues as a result of Thursday's blackout.
"I want to commend our staff, parents and students for getting through
this very trying situation," said Superintendent Bill Kowba. "I know
everybody looks forward to a great school day on Monday."
