BOARD PRESIDENT, TRUSTEES TO MAKE IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ON SUPERINTENDENT SUCCESSION TONIGHT

WHAT: The Board of Education trustees will announce the succession plan following Supt. Bill Kowba's retirement.

WHEN: 7:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013

WHERE: Eugene Brucker Education Center Auditorium, 4100 Normal St., San Diego (92103)

DETAILS: Board of Education President John Lee Evans will be joined by Vice President Kevin Beiser and Trustees Scott Barnett, Richard Barrera and Marne Foster to make an announcement regarding superintendent succession. Supt. Bill Kowba announced yesterday his plans to retire June 30, 2013.
