Wednesday 10/16 – 8:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. – Madison High School's No Place for Hate Interactive Assembly
Madison High School, in collaboration with the ADL kicks off their No Place for Hate Campaign with an interactive assembly for all 9th graders. This is a hands on experience for students to look at the pyramid of hate and reflect on their own actions to ensure they are treating all people with respect and dignity both on and off Madison's campus.

Thursday 10/17 – 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. - Celebrity Stedman Graham visits Kearny High School's Youth Success Week
Media are invited to Kearny High School's Youth Success Week (YSW). YSW is a national movement with a program and curriculum giving students opportunities to express what success means to them as part of their journey to discover their PURPOSE in life. Cofounded by Stedman Graham, YSW is designed to engage and catalyze our entire community on matters related to the success and well-being of our youth. Speakers include cofounders Stedman Graham and Bobbi DePorter, Kearny High School Complex principal Ana Diaz, teacher curriculum developers, students, and dignitaries including San Diego Councilmember Chris Cate. Youth Success Week (YSW) is a community initiative created by CAYS, Community Alliance for Youth Success, also cofounded by Stedman Graham and Bobbi DePorter.

Friday 10/18 – 4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. - La Jolla Elementary Family Wellness Night
La Jolla Elementary's 2nd Annual Family Wellness Night will offer an opportunity to explore over 20 booths with wellness professionals/vendors from 4:00-5:00 in the lunch arbor. Try free food samples, experience demonstrations, ask professionals for advice, collect coupons, and get a chair massage. Learn about local businesses and load up on new wellness tools. From 5:00-6:30 kids can attend interactive stations on the upper field where they can participate in a variety of workshops like, dance, arts and crafts, jiu-jitsu, gymnastics, basketball and tennis. Parents will be able to attend four TED-Style talks in the auditorium about physical fitness, nutrition, connections with technology & nature, and optimizing your family's well-being.
