MEDIA ADVISORY: San Diego Unified + San Diego Press Club present: May ED Talks
San Diego journalists are invited to participate in a special Zoom installment of ED Talks, a casual forum hosted by the San Diego Unified School District in collaboration with the San Diego Press Club. The goal is to foster open and robust conversations about public education.
The May forum will be held via Zoom and will feature district experts on Distance Learning and blended-learning strategies.

Background: Since schools closed in March to help stop the spread of COVID-19, San Diego Unified launched graded Distance Learning for all students. Teachers have conducted lessons using a variety of platforms, and have engaged with students remotely as they work to complete the academic year. Guest speakers will share their professional experiences and insights as the district continues to educate students amid public safety guidelines and a pandemic.
