3 -- Clairemont High School Holiday Bazaar, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., Clairemont

5 -- Crawford High Cluster Meeting, 5 p.m., Mann Middle School, 4345 54th
St. (92115). Parents, students and community members are invited to attend
this meeting, which discusses educational issues at the high school and
its middle and elementary schools. Schools in the Crawford cluster are:
Clay, Euclid, Fay, Ibarra, Marshall, Oak Park and Rolando Park elementary

6 -- Patrick Henry High Suicide Prevention Education Awareness and
Knowledge Program for Parents, 6:30 p.m., Patrick Henry High School, 6702

fall, the evening's program will help parents recognize self-harm and

7 ­ Helping Your Child Make Better Choices, 6 p.m., Knox Middle School,
1098 South 49th St. How to teach your child to make healthy choices is the

8 -- Madison High School Broadcast Journalism and Multimedia Production
Facility Dedication, 10:30 a.m., Madison High School, 4833 Dolvia Drive
(92117). Dedication of $2.6 million multimedia production and broadcast
journalism facility, funded through Prop. S bonds. Contact: Cynthia

8-15 -- Scrooge, The Musical at SCPA, San Diego School of Creative and
Performing Arts, 2425 Dusk Drive (92139). More than 90 SCPA students in
grades 6-12 are featured in Scrooge, The Musical as performers on stage,
in the orchestra or working on the production. Performances are Thursday
December 8 and 15 at 2:30 p.m., December 9, 10 and 16 at 7 p.m., and on
December 10 at 2 p.m. in our Grand Theatre. Visual arts students in grades
6-11 will exhibit their artwork from Thursday, December 8 through Friday,
December 16 in the Little Theatre at 6 pm prior to the performances of
Scrooge, TheMusical. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased online at
www.sandi.net/scpa under "Events."Tickets may also be purchased at the box

10 -- SCPA Open House for Prospective Students and Families, 9 a.m.
Saturday, December 10, San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts,

dual curriculum of arts and academics and learn why SCPA is the District's
premier college, preparatory arts-focused magnet school for students in
