Your input was vital to the future of our schools as well as to the development of the district Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP). District's new mass notification provider goes live April 1
[sdusd]
Automated phone and email messages you receive from your school site and from the district will have a slightly different look to them starting next month. As of April 1, the district will be using SchoolMessenger to provide mass notification services. District employees and parents who receive communication will hear no difference in the phone messages (the prompt that said "This is an important message from...Please press 1 to hear the message" has been removed) and will only see minor formatting changes on outreach and attendance emails. There will be more options available to all parties regarding message access and preferences. Stay tuned for more details.
