The EID Lab is part of the district's Career, College and Technical Education (CCTE) Program that provides high school students with skills necessary to succeed in post-secondary/college education, entry-level employment and career advancement. The more than $2.4 million project is funded by San Diego Unified School District's Proposition Z bond measure and matching funds from a state Proposition 1D grant. Construction began in July and is expected to be completed in spring 2017.
