San Diego Air & Space Museum to Host San Diego Unified's "Design 4 Change" STEAM Showcase

WHAT: "Design 4 Change" is an event showcasing four years of design thinking, inquiry, STEAM and change at four San Diego Unified STEAM elementary magnet schools: Franklin, Jefferson IB, Valencia Park and Washington. This event will bring together community members, district staff, families, and partners to experience the subjects of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) as catalysts for change.

Student representatives from each site will share their projects using a "Ted Talk" format to engage the audience in the process of problem solving and problem seeing in the world around them.

Student ambassadors as well San Diego Unified administrators will be present and available for interviews throughout the event.

The event is by invitation only and not open to the public.
