MT. EVEREST ACADEMY RESUMES REGULAR SCHOOL SCHEDULE FRIDAY

SAN DIEGO -- The Mt. Everest Academy school in Clairemont will resume its

electric-generating panels.

While the San Diego Unified School District continues to investigate the
cause of the late morning incident, the school's students will be back in
class. The campus is located at 4350 Mount Everest Blvd. (92117) in the
Clairemont neighborhood.

Mt. Everest Academy is a school for students on independent study and
home-school programs in grades kindergarten through 12. Students visit the
campus at irregular intervals.

No injuries were reported from the incident. Parents/guardians will be
notified by the district's automated telephone system, ConnectEd. Parents
and guardians can also call the school at (858) 496-8778.
