The San Diego Unified School District Construction Expo is an exhibit fair-style event for those interested in working on District construction contracts. Meet staff from San Diego Unified School District's Construction and Contracts departments. Learn how to do business with the District and find out about upcoming projects. Speak with the District's top general contractors and learn what they look for at bid time. Spend time with other San Diego County agencies and find out about regional contracting opportunities. Mingle with industry professionals and see what their organizations have to offer your growing company.

Saturday, 7/22 – 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. SDUSD Student March @ COMIC CON w/Congressman John Lewis
Join dozens of San Diego Unified student as they march alongside Rep. John Lewis Lewis in his "parade of purpose" through the halls of the San Diego Convention Center. This will be the 3rd year in a row that students from San Diego Unified will participate in the special comic-con event that commemorates the anniversary of the historic Selma, Alabama march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge. Rep. John Lewis will be in attendance at comic-con to call attention to his graphic novel, March, his story of the 1965 march from Selma, to Montgomery, Alabama.
