San Diego Unified to hold 2017 State of the District Address

 

WHAT: 2017 State of the District Address

 

WHEN:  Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017

 

             4:15 p.m.  Reception

 

             5 p.m.  Address Begins

 

WHERE: Sherman Elementary School Auditorium, 301 22nd St., 92102

 

DETAILS: San Diego Unified School District Board of Education President Richard Barrera and Superintendent Cindy Marten will deliver the address. They will report on the successes and challenges of the last school year and will provide a look ahead at plans for the current school year as the district continues to focus on Vision 2020 and the goals outlined in the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP).

 

The program will also include musical and choral performances by students from San Diego High School.
