Thursday, 7/12 – 11:30 a.m. – San Diego Unified Celebrates PRIDE – Parade participation PREVIEW
San Diego Unified student leaders and staff will be available to discuss their participation in the upcoming San Diego Pride Parade as well as the various LGBTQIA+ supports the district offers throughout the year. As of last school year San Diego Unified is proud to announce that the number of Gay Straight Alliance (GSA)/ LGBTQIA clubs has grown to include every high school within the district and 24 middle schools. The San Diego Unified School District's Participation in The San Diego Pride parade is just one of many ways the district demonstrates their commitment to diversity and inclusion. 2018 marks the fifth year San Diego Unified has participated in the San Diego Pride parade. San Diego Unified is proud to support lesbian, gay, bisexual/pansexual, transgender, questioning/queer, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQIA) students and families. Here are some of the ways the second largest school district in California is "Unified with PRIDE."

Saturday, 7/14 – 10:30 a.m. – "UNIFIED WITH PRIDE" San Diego Unified PRIDE Parade marching contingent

Come and join San Diego Unified students, staff, district leadership, community members, Superintendent Cindy Marten, and the Youth Advocacy department in celebrating and affirming LGBTQIA students. San Diego Unified will be marching in the San Diego Pride Parade for the fifth year in a row.
Location: Staging area located near the Hillcrest DMV located on Normal St. between Lincoln and Harvey Milk St. We are contingent #77 located in area "E." On the map
