PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The Point Loma High School Whole Site Modernization project includes design and construction of a new three-story, 38,000 square-foot building, renovation of the 200, 300, and 400 buildings and upgrades to the athletic facilities.
The new building features a library/media center on the first floor, ten classrooms each on the second and third floors, and a multi-functional central outdoor area.
On-site parking capacity is increased with the reconfiguration of the Clove Street parking lot, which features a visitor's security entrance to the campus.
Other site improvements include installation of a new bus turnout, landscape and hardscape improvements, constructing new security enclosures, practice fields, and technology upgrades.
The project is anticipated to be completed in late 2021.
