BOARD OF EDUCATION SPECIAL BUDGET MEETING HAS 3 P.M. START TIME TOMORROW

 

What:    San Diego Unified School District Board of Education Special Budget Meeting

 

When: 3 p.m., Tuesday, June 21

 

Where: Eugene Brucker Education Center auditorium, 4100 Normal Street, San Diego (92103)

 

Details: The San Diego Unified Board of Education will hold a special budget meeting tomorrow, June 21, to consider a first reading adoption of the 2011-12 district budget. The meeting will begin at 3 p.m. rather than the usual 5 p.m. start time. Several other budget-related items are also on the agenda. The Board plans to adopt the final 2011-12 budget at its June 28, 2011 meeting. California Education Code requires that the district adopt a budget and file that budget with the County Superintendent of Schools no later than July 1.
