* 18-22 – Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) No Name-Calling Week, all schools. The Board of Education has proclaimed this week to honor "The Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), local chapter of San Diego County, through the national, non-profit organization, works to ensure safe schools for ALL students, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity, and it is the mission of GLSEN to strive to assure that each member of every school community is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression." 1-2 -- John Lennon Educational Foundation Tour Bus Visit to Crown Point Junior Music Academy, open times to be announced, Crown Point Junior Music Academy, 4033 Ingraham Street (92109). The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus is a non-profit 501(c)(3) state-of-the-art mobile audio and HD video recording and production facility. With the assistance of three on-board engineers, students learn how to write, perform, record, and produce original songs, produce and shoot music videos and documentaries and complete a broadcast quality music video.
