* 21-Joint-Use Field Dedication Ceremony, 2-3 p.m., Language Academy, 4961 64th St. (92115). San Diego Unified Board Member Kevin Beiser and City Councilmember Marti Emerald will join students, parents, staff and community members in celebration of the new joint-use field recently completed in the College East neighborhood. * 21 -- Lincoln High School Hosts An Evening with UC San Diego, 6-8 p.m., Lincoln High School, 4777 Imperial Ave. (92113). 23 -- Curie Elementary Astronomy Night, 6-9 p.m., Curie Elementary School, 4080 Governor Drive (92122). Members of the San Diego Astronomy Association will be on hand to help Curie students and families and the community discover the skies. * 24 & March 1-3 -- Clairemont High School Presents "Zombie Prom," 7 p.m., Clairemont High School, 4150 Ute Drive (92117). "Grease" meets zombies in this hilarious musical production, co-sponsored by the Clairemont High Y.O.U after-school program, the Grossmont College Dance Department and Theatre Alive. * 24 -- Community Night Series Hosts Discussion on Bullying, 6-8:30 p.m., Ballard Parent Center, 2375 Congress Ave. (92110).The San Diego American Indian Health/Youth Center and the district's Parent Outreach and Engagement Department will sponsor a Community Night called "Bullying: Prevention, Intervention and Healing." The FIRST Robotics Competition is an exciting, multinational competition that teams professionals and young people together to solve an engineering design problem in an intense and competitive way. The University City High School H20pe for Uganda club will sponsor a dinner to raise money for freshwater wells in rural Uganda. Dinner includes pasta, fresh salad and home-made desserts. 22 -- La Jolla Cluster Views "Race to Nowhere," 6:30 p.m., La Jolla High Parker Auditorium, 750 Nautilus St. (92037). "Race to Nowhere: The Dark Side of America's Achievement Culture" will be watched, followed by a panel discussion The cluster association first showed this film in October 2010, and it prompted changes in homework policies at some public.
