MEDIA ADVISORY: The SCPA Presents ³INTO THE WOODS²

The San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts presents ³Into The
Woods², by Stephen Sondheim.

WHAT: The San Diego SCPA announces the start of its 36th Mainstage Season
with the musical production of Stephen Sondheim¹s INTO THE WOODS. Tickets:
$8 Adults, and $5 Students, Seniors and Military.

WHEN: December 12 @ 2:30pm, 14 @ 2pm and 7pm, 19 @ 2:30pm, 20 @ 7pm and
21 @ 2pm and 7pm, 2013.

WHERE: The San Diego SCPA, 2425 Dusk Drive, San Diego, 92139 in The
Kittelson Little Theatre.

VISUALS: The set is designed to feature the illustrations of the Visual
and Media Arts Students in the 2 Dimensional Design Program. Stunning
portraits of the characters from the show are on display as the actors on
stage move through the musical story. Art, music, and beautiful vocals
are at the center of this popular musical treat!

MORE DETAILS: ³Into The Woods²: was originally directed by James Lapine
at The Old Globe under the artistic direction of Jack O¹Brien. Recently
NY1 Television Station out of New York City was here at The SCPA to shoot
a rehearsal of our version of the show for their syndicated program ³On

The San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts is announcing its
Annual OPEN HOUSE for Prospective Students and Families.

WHAT: The San Diego SCPA announces that its opening its doors once again
for The Annual OPEN HOUSE for prospective students and families.

WHEN: December 14th, 2013 from 9-11am.

WHERE: The San Diego SCPA, 2425 Dusk Drive, San Diego, 92139 in The SCPA
Library.

VISUALS: Come see a presentation on The San Diego SCPA. Learn about the
audition process for high school students and the open enrollment process
for middle school. Via our website you will learn what to look for, what
to expect, what to bring, what to prepare, and about our award-winning
dual curriculum.

MORE DETAILS: The San Diego SCPA is a college preparatory arts-focused
school in the San Diego Unified School District. The campus holds grades
6-8, and a magnet creative and performing arts high school program. The
SCPA is celebrating its 36th year as a public arts magnet high school, and
features five majors and 11 programs of study in the arts, plus an
