2015 State of the District Address to Focus on Equity, Inclusion and Access
WHAT: 2015 State of the District Address
WHEN: Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015; 4:15 p.m. - Reception; 5 p.m. - Program Begins

DETAILS: The 2015 State of the District Address will focus on Equity, Inclusion and Access in Education. Board of Education President Marne Foster will provide a look back at the successes and challenges of the last school year. Superintendent Cindy Marten will provide a look ahead at the plans for the current school year as the district continues to focus on Vision 2020 and the goals outlined in the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP). The superintendent will also provide a preview of the district’s statewide advocacy efforts supporting educational funding through a newly developed investment model.
Program will include student performances by the School of Creative and Performing Arts Jazz Band and choral singers.
