BACKGROUND: With its first high school class enrolling this fall, LMEC students will soon be able to establish strong connections by having the opportunity to attend the same campus from the day they start school all the way through high school graduation. It is California’s first-of-its-kind prenatal-to-career public Montessori school.
LMEC’s mission is to build a more just and peaceful world by cultivating tomorrow’s leaders who find purpose and joy in their own lives and advocate for others to be able to do the same. Students are provided access to a transformational, interdisciplinary, inclusive, and academically rigorous Montessori environment that encourages personal growth, curiosity, self-direction, and well-being.
The San Diego Adult Baseball League was established in 1986. Today, it includes players in different divisions from 18 to over 70 years old. Throughout the decades, the league’s charitable division, Charity 4 Kids, has donated more than $1.2 million in financial contributions, goods and services to organizations throughout the San Diego region.
