BACKGROUND:

The Morse High School Whole Site Modernization Phase III project includes construction of a new student services and performing arts building with additional campus wide improvements.

The two-story student services and performing arts center will replace aging portables, and will include a theater with a stage, LED lighting, theatrical orchestra enclosure, fly loft and more.

A new student services building will also be constructed with a secure campus entry, lobby, administrative offices and student support spaces.

Along with the new Performing Arts Center and student services offices, the project includes expansion of the student quad area and a new parking lot along 69th Street.

Campus safety and security will be enhanced with a new single point of entry, reconfigured parking lot and student drop-off and pick-up area from Tuther Way, additional security cameras, perimeter fencing and upgraded campus communications and fire alarm systems.

Construction is anticipated to complete in Summer 2024.

This latest project complements recent enhancements at Morse, including newly modernized classrooms, a remodeled music building, and present-day signage and graphics.

PARKING:

Media may park in the main parking visitor parking lot at the front entrance. School starts at 8:30 a.m., so please be aware there will be traffic about 30 minutes prior to the school start time.
