Good morning Community Members,
-- My name is Rosario Perez and I'm a program manager for the Cesar Chavez Service Clubs. The Cesar Chavez Service Clubs is an after school program (3rd-12th) in the San Diego Unified District schools, now expanding into the South Bay. We focus on teaching our Chavistas about community service, organizing and leadership. We also have our Chavista Congress Committee which consist of our elected Chavista Officers from their schools.
The Chavista Congress is hosting a Town Hall Meeting tomorrow, May 25th from 5pm to 8pm. Chavistas will be discussing important topics regarding their concerns on the Climate Action Policy of San Diego and Food Justice as it relates to school lunches and food waste.
