NEWS CONFERENCE ANNOUNCES TENTATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAN DIEGO UNIFIED
SCHOOL DISTRICT, ADMINISTRATORS ASSOCIATION OF SAN DIEGO CITY SCHOOLS ON
CONTRACT REVISIONS

WHAT: Announcement of tentative agreement between the San Diego Unified
School District and Administrators Association of San Diego City Schools
on revisions to the 2012-13 and 2013-14 school year contracts.

WHEN/WHERE: 12:30 p.m., Friday, August 3, Auditorium, Eugene Brucker
Education Center, 4100 Normal Street (92103)

DETAILS: Board of Education President Dr. John Lee Evans will announce a
tentative agreement on changes to the Administrators Association 2012-13
and 2013-14 school year contracts. The tentative agreement mirrors
agreements approved earlier by the San Diego Education Association and San
Diego Schools Police Officers' Association. It includes deferral of pay
raises, continuance of the five furlough days, establishment of a health
care trust and a one-time retirement incentive for Association members.
The tentative agreement outlines additional conditions based on whether
the November Tax Initiatives pass or fail.

The Association is the bargaining unit for employees in ?number
administrative positions in the district, including principals and
non-teaching supervisors.
