WHERE: Lewis Middle School auditorium, 5170 Greenbrier Avenue (92120).
DETAILS: The topic of the 2014 State of the District Address is Innovation, Equity and Excellence in Education. Kevin Beiser, Board of Education President, will provide a look back to the successes and challenges of the last school year. Superintendent Cindy Marten will provide a look ahead at the plans for the current school year as the district continues to focus on Vision 2020. More than 400 employees, parents, students and community members are expected to attend.
Program will include student performances by the Lewis Middle School String Orchestra and the Patrick Henry High School Bel Canto Ensemble.
