Charles Ogletree, Harvard professor for both President Obama and the First Lady, to speak with San Diego High students this evening

WHAT: Constitutional Law Professor Charles Ogletree will speak with San Diego High School students this evening on the importance of education. Ogletree, who taught both the President and First Lady when they attended Harvard, is one of the nation’s best-known legal scholars and was recently portrayed in the HBO docu-drama, “Confirmation.” This evening, Ogletree is expected to address San Diego High students on the importance of getting a strong education and attending college.

San Diego High School is one of the oldest public schools in all of California and the Alma mater of many notables such as Gregory Peck, Sol Price, Eileen Rose Busby, Lillian Jeannette Rice and the first African-American Federal Court Judge from San Diego, The Honorable Earl B. Gilliam.

 

WHEN: Tonight, Wednesday night

 

TIME: 6 p.m. arrival, 7 p.m. program to start (Note: Professor Ogletree is expected to speak at approximately 7:20 p.m.)
