MEDIA ADVISORY -- 3:45 p.m. News Conference on Clark Middle School Incident

MEDIA ADVISORY from the San Diego Unified School District, March 12, 2010

3:45 P.M. NEWS CONFERENCE ON CLARK MIDDLE SCHOOL INCIDENT

WHAT: News conference with San Diego Unified School Police to discuss
incident this morning at Clark Middle School

WHEN: 3:45 p.m. today

WHERE: San Diego Unified School District Police Department, 4100 Normal St.
Police Services is north of the main Education Center building. Enter from
Campus Drive.

DETAILS: The San Diego Unified School District Police Department, in
conjunction with San Diego Police Department, is asking for the public's
assistance with helping to identify the individual listed in this release.

At approximately 7:40 a.m., an 11-year-old female was walking to school in
the area of 3500 Fairmount Ave. A male called out to her, and grabbed her
by the arm. The 11-year-old was able to pull away, run to the school and ask
for help. The juvenile was not harmed during the incident.

The male individual is described as a 25-30 year old, black male,
approximately 5'8-6'0 tall, 200-250 lbs, shaved head, no facial hair, with a
dark complexion. He has tattoos on his right arm and was wearing a green
shirt and blue baggie shorts.

Individuals with any information are asked to call Crime Stoppers at (888)
580-TIPS. You can also contact the San Diego Unified School District Police
Department at 619-291-7678.
