Special guests, ex-San Diego Charger John Carney and San Diego State

The field was lined with parents and friends while students from
kindergarten through 5th grade jogged laps to earn money for their
school. The Dailard Jog-a-thon raised a total of $38,936 from individual
sponsors and another $1,300 from corporate sponsors. All of the money
raised will go into classrooms to help support student learning. Money
will go towards supplemental funding for the library, the computer lab,
physical education, art programs, materials and supplies, field trips
