29, 30, Dec. 6, 7 -- Serra High School Drama presents Tennessee Williams' "The Glass Menagerie", 6:30 p.m. Nov. 29, 30; 2:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m., Dec. 6; 2:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Dec.7; Serra High School, 5156 Santo Rd. 30 -- Holmes Elementary Free Movie Night, 6:30 p.m., Holmes Elementary School, 4902 Mt. Ararat Dr. (92111). "Madagascar 3" is on the big screen in this kid-friendly night in the Holmes auditorium. Contact: Jonathan Saipe, Principal, (858) 496-8110. Open to the public.

DECEMBER
1 -- IMIN Synergy Summit, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Jacobs Center, Market Creek Venue, 404 Euclid Ave. (92114). High school youth summit to empower students to take charge, develop, design and lead after school programs that connect with the needs and interests of their peers. * 1 -- Point Loma High School discussion/viewing of the movie Lincoln, 10 a.m., AMC Fashion Valley 18, 7037 Friars Road, San Diego (92108). Point Loma High's History Awards Program is hosting a fundraiser for students, family and friends that includes a lecture and discussion on the Civil War and Lincoln's legacy, followed by the 10:30 a.m. showing of the movie Lincoln. *1 -- Ocean Beach Holiday Parade, 5 p.m. Newport Avenue, Ocean Beach (92107). Ocean Beach Elementary students will be selling hot chocolate and cider; the Point Loma High band will be participating in the parade. Contact: Margaret Johnson, Principal, mjohnson@sandi.net. Open to the public.

* 3 -- Point Loma Cluster Schools Foundation Board Meeting, 4:30 p.m., Correia Middle School, 4302 Valeta St., San Diego (92107). Parents, students and community members are invited to attend this meeting, which discusses educational issues at the high school and its middle and elementary schools. Schools in the Point Loma cluster are: Cabrillo, Dewey, Loma Portal, Ocean Beach, Silver Gate, Sunset View, Dana and Correia middle schools, and Point Loma High. 5 -- Montgomery Middle School "Girls! Camera! Action!" opening, 5-8 p.m., Museum of Photographic Arts, 1649 El Prado (92101). Short animations, created by Montgomery students, that serve as social media public service announcements, will be shown. The Museum of Photographic Arts, Montgomery Middle School, Break the Cycle, Civic Light Project, San Diego Asian Film Foundation, the Boys and Girls Foundation have teamed up to create the project for Montgomery students. 6 -- Timken Museum Arts-On-Tour Opening, Montgomery Middle School, 2470 Ulric St. (92111). The Timken Museum of Art presents Arts On Tour, a traveling exhibition, which brings the museum collection of masterpieces to students at various middle school sites in underserved, low-income communities. 7-8, 14-15 - Clairemont High School Drama presents "It's a Wonderful Life", 7 p.m. Clairemont High School, 4150 Ute Dr. (92117). Made famous by Jimmy Stewart's portrayal of George Bailey in the 1946 movie, Clairemont High School Drama presents the story of an angel-in-training who gives a despondent man a look at what the world would be like if he had never been born. 10 -- Madison Community of Schools Meeting, 5:30 p.m., Madison High School Room 101 - 4833 Doliva Dr. (92117). Parents, students and community members are invited to attend this meeting, which discusses educational issues at the high school and its middle and elementary schools. Schools in the Madison cluster are: Field, Hawthorne, Holmes, Lafayette, Lindbergh Schweitzer, Sequoia, Whitman, CPMA, Innovation, and Madison High. Contact: Richard Nash, Principal, rnash@sandi.net. 13 -- Kearny Community of Schools Meeting, 4:30 p.m., Kearny Construction Tech Academy in Room 301 7651 Wellington St. (92111). Parents, students and community members are invited to attend this meeting, which discusses educational issues at the high school and its middle and elementary schools. Schools in the Kearny cluster are: Angier, Carson, Chesterton, Cubberley, Fletcher, Hones, Juarez, Linda Vista, Ross, Wegeforth, Montgomery, Taft, and Kearny High School. 15 -- JROTC Regulation Drill Competition, 9 a.m., Madison High School, 4833 Dolvia Dr. (92117). JROTC units throughout the district will compete in the annual Joint Brigade Regulation Drill competition to determine the overall best drill unit. The competition is designed to showcase military drill precision and foster an atmosphere of team and individual competition, while promoting true sportsmanship. Lt. Col.
