School Board Vice President Richard Barrera and Superintendent Cindy Marten join rally to save San Diego High School
San Diego Unified School District leaders, including Board Vice President Richard Barrera and Superintendent Cindy Marten, will join education advocates today to fight for the future of San Diego High School. The oldest high school in San Diego has been threatened with eviction by court action. Barrera and Marten will reaffirm their call for urgent City Council action to save the school. They will be joined by Council Member David Alvarez (D-8).
Superintendent Cindy Marten said, “San Diego High School has been a part of our city for more than 100 years, and we are going to fight for the right of our students to continue attending the school they love.”
