Student Innovation Showcase to Focus on Ingenuity, Collaborative Problem Solving

WHAT: From elementary to high school students, the College, Career and Technical Education (CCTE) Innovation Showcase offers a platform that features creative, hands-on projects, including cutting-edge technology and sustainable design solutions. Of the hundreds of students expected to present and demonstrate their innovations, many have been working on them for months, and some for an entire year. The array of projects address real-world problems and showcase the talents of the next generation of trailblazers.

BACKGROUND: CCTE prepares students for high-wage, high-skill, and high-demand careers through enrollment in a multiyear sequence of courses that integrates core academic knowledge with technical and industry related experiences to provide students with a pathway to postsecondary education and careers. CCTE classrooms offer specialized learning environments in state-of-the-art facilities that include authentic broadcast news studios, high-tech automotive shops, professional kitchens, and health care settings.
