on Wednesday, Feb. 18, the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department's

WHAT: Fire-Rescue helicopter broadens horizons for Lincoln High School
students; demonstrating the variety of career opportunities in the fire
service.

WHEN: Wednesday, February 18 11:15 a.m.

WHERE: Lincoln High School, 4777 Imperial Avenue

WHY: As part of the Fire Technology program at Lincoln, now in its
second year. San Diego Fire-Rescue Department's outreach to recruit the
diverse citizenry of San Diego into the Department.

WHO: Students in the Fire Technology program at the Lincoln Center for
Public Safety.

Students in this program meet the entry level requirements for
application to the fire service, and earn college credits from Miramar
College toward a degree in fire science.
