* 4 -- Students Performing at December Nights in Balboa Park: 8:40-9:10,
Palisades Stage, University City High School Dance Team.

4-19 -- ³The Yellow Boat,² San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts,
2425 Dusk Drive (92139). Preview is at 7 p.m. Dec. 4, with performances at 7
p.m. Dec 5, 10 and 11, as well as 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12. The Yellow Boat
is based on a true-life story of 8-year-old boy who faces AIDS and
hemophilia. Tickets are $8 General Admission, $6 for Students, Senior
Citizens, and Military. Season subscriptions are $50. Order tickets through

5 -- Walk for Diabetes, 9:30-11:30 a.m., football field, University City
High School, 6949 Genesee Ave. (92122). University City High School is
partnering with the American Diabetes Association to host this School Walk
for Diabetes. All proceeds help the Association fund researchers, educate
the community and advocate on behalf of those with diabetes. Jamba Juice
will donate 20 percent back to the Association for the fight against

6 -- Chili Cook-off and Pottery Sale, Benefiting McKinley Elementary, noon
to 5 p.m., San Diego Ceramic Connection, 3216 Thorn Street (92104) The 13th
annual event raises money for the school¹s art program.

7 -- Post High School Programs for Students with Disabilities, 6-8 p.m.,
Ballard Parent Center, 2375 Congress St., (92117). Parents of students
receiving special education services or with a 504 plan are invited to
attend as special presentation on Post High School Options. A panel will
discuss various services and programs including college attendance
(university and community college), adult education and vocational programs,
high school diploma criteria, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) options, and
the district's Transition Resources for Adult Community Education (TRACE)

Treasury for Dog Lovers" and "A Treasury for Cat Lovers," as well as his old
