LOMA PORTAL ELEMENTARY OPEN TODAY
Despite a power outage, Loma Portal Elementary School will be open today. First classes are at 9 a.m. Because of the power outage, the principal earlier an automated message had been sent telling parents the school was closed; another message later in the morning announced the school would, in fact, open.
So far, all schools in San Diego Unified are open today.
