ALL-SCHOOLS FAIR INFORMATION

What: San Diego Unified All Schools Fair

When: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30

Where: Balboa Park Recital Hall (adjacent to Puppet Theater)

Description: Neighborhood, magnet and International Baccalaureate schools,
as well as other innovative programs will be under one roof. Representatives
from the enrollment office can answer school choice application questions.
Parents have until February 15 to apply to send their child to an
out-of-neighborhood school for the 2010-11 school year. For more
information, visit www.sandi.net/enrollmentoptions.

Parents have choices. That¹s the key message of the fair which attracted
more than 1,500 families last year from all over San Diego County, including
families already living within the district, parents with jobs in San Diego
who want to know about great schools located close to work and parents who
are ready to make a move from high-cost private and parochial schools. The
free event for grades pre-K-12 gives families a chance to explore the
excellent academic and college/career preparatory programs at San Diego
Unified, plus enjoy student performances throughout the day.
