SAN DIEGO CHARGERS QUENTIN JAMMER AND MADD APPLAUD LOCAL STUDENTS¹ EFFORTS
TO GIVE BACK AND RAISE AWARENESS
WHAT: Starting corner back Quentin Jammer of the San Diego Chargers will
joinMothers Against Drunk Driving San Diego County to honor Standley
Middle School students in a music filled lunchtime rally for their
participation in the MADD Jammin Coin Drive to raise awareness about
underage drinking during red ribbon week and for raising $976.46 in coins
towards MADD San Diego¹s programs and victim support services.
Supported by Principal Lyon, students held a school-wide coin drive
pledging to steer clear of drinking and getting in a car with a drunk
driver, raising awareness of America¹s number one youth drug problem-
alcohol.

· Alcohol kills more young people than all other illicit drugs
combined.
· One in three 8th graders has tried alcohol.
· High school students who use alcohol or other substances are
five times more likely to drop out of school or believe good grades are
not important.

remain alcohol free.
