Media Advisory -- Two News Conferences Today on Childhood Obesity; Different Reports

CLAIRIFICATION: TWO NEWS CONFERENCES TODAY ON CHILDHOOD OBESITY; DIFFERENT
REPORTS RELEASED

It's come to our attention that there are two news conferences today on
childhood obesity, releasing and discussing two different reports.

At 12:30 p.m., Vice-Chairman Ron Roberts and Supervisor Pam Slater-Price
will be joined by County health officials to announce the results of a new
study highlighting obesity rates for children in San Diego County.

At 1:30 p.m., Supt. Bill Kowba and retired military brass will discuss a
new report that focuses on why many young adults in California are unfit
for military service. Sandburg Elementary students and Marines from MCAS
