WHAT: ³Evening with UC San Diego²

WHEN/WHERE: 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, Lincoln High School Theater,
4777 Imperial Ave. (92113)

DETAILS: The new partnership between UC San Diego, Lincoln High School and
the San Diego Unified School District is highlighted as San Diego Unified
Superintendent Cindy Marten welcomes Dr. Pradeep K. Khosla, Chancellor, UC
San Diego, to this event that will help students in Grade 10 prepare for
life after high school.

INTERVIEWS/VISUALS: Interviews will be available with Supt. Marten and
Chancellor Khosla, Lincoln High and UC San Diego graduates regarding the
importance of the San Diego community working together to help educate the
next generation of San Diegans.

NOTE: The event is open to all 10th grade students in San Diego County and
is being organized by the California Student Opportunity and Access
Program (Cal-SOAP) San Diego and Imperial Counties. Participants will
receive information on navigating the college preparatory process,
admissions to colleges and universities, financial aid and career
