Administrators, teachers, counselors, custodians, cafeteria managers, campus security, and student support staff have been working diligently to prepare for this academically enriching experience.  In addition, the campus has been promoting this event to the students via a countdown banner and daily SAT words of the week.  SDSU’s very own Aztec Warrior will also be joining us to celebrate the event to motivate students to start preparing for college.

Another unique benefit offered exclusively to Hoover High School students in the San Diego Unified School District is the College Avenue Compact, which guarantees admission to San Diego State University (SDSU) for all Hoover students who meet the CAC benchmark requirements. For students who prefer to begin their higher education at the community college, the agreement also provides an alternate pathway through San Diego City College with a guaranteed transfer to SDSU.  Hoover High School is committed to prepare all students to be college and career ready.
