SAN DIEGO UNIFIED HONORED AS BEST COMMUNITY FOR MUSIC EDUCATION

WHAT: News conference presenting award from National Association of Music
Merchants as ³Best Community for Music Education.²

WHEN: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, Oak Park Music Conservatory, 2606 54th

DETAILS: Carlsbad-based National Association of Music Merchants
(www.namm.org) annually names the ³Best Communities for Education² around
the nation. San Diego Unified is honored to have been named one of these
communities for 2010. Representatives of the organization will be on hand to
