Target, The Heart of America Foundation and Doris Miller Elementary
Celebrate the Unveiling of Newly Renovated School Library
New Books, Technology and Eco-Friendly Designs Create an Inspiring Space for
Kids to Learn and Grow
What:
Students, families and staff from Doris Miller Elementary, along with Target
volunteers and The Heart of America Foundation® will celebrate the unveiling
of the school¹s newly renovated library. As part of the Target School
Library Makeovers program, Doris Miller Elementary library received a
complete transformation, including eco-friendly design elements, new
technology, lighting, flooring and shelving, customized wall art and murals
and 2,000 new books. In addition, each child and their sibling/s will walk
away with seven new books to take home and begin their own at-home library.
More than 1,500 students, staff, community members and volunteers are
expected to attend the unveiling.
